It's the first day of summer and I am beginning my new journey of blogging about fostering a love of reading in children! I hope to give lots of information of how to foster a love of reading and links to people who I have learned from in fostering the love of reading in others...

- I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in Illinois. In the fall, I will begin my 7th year of teaching. It has been a wonderful and rewarding experience so far. I am looking forward to my years to come in the education field.
